Future Food were engaged by Mornington Peninsula Shire to assist them with the EOI/Tender Campaign for the café outlet within the new Yawa Aquatic Centre in Rosebud.

Future Food acted as a key panel member in the assessment of all submitted responses and were tasked with evaluating and scoring each response, aligned to pre-determined selection criteria. As the subject matter expert for Food & Hospitality, Future Food were required to advise and steer the panel to achieve a best practice outcome for this highly publicised and exciting key community facility and project for the region.

Future Food assisted in facilitating the interview process, including writing interview questions and scoring responses to ensure the preferred operator was assessed not just on their financial offer, but on their credentials as a highly capable local operator and on their capacity to deliver on the proposed vision for the café.

Securing the best operator to deliver a modern, best practice and destinational café was identified as crucial to the future success of the facility.

The successfully appointed operator brings with them a wealth of local commercial experience from their portfolio of businesses including a local café, catering company and coffee roastery business, which will combine to create a fabulous addition to this new Aquatic Centre.
