Stockland Traralgon

Victoria, Australia

Stockland Traralgon is at the heart of a country society in Gippsland with a strong local following and has created a genuine sense of community in Traralgon. Recent development of the Food and Hospitality offer has been received well by the community and has highlighted an opportunity to redevelop the food offer further at the Centre.

Incorporating feedback from the existing customer engagement surveys, Future Food completed a scope of works that quantified and specifically identified the size of the food and hospitality opportunity as well reviewing the existing operators and the greater trade area surrounding the shopping Centre.

The opportunity analysis recommended the best course of action for Stockland to take in order to maximise food and beverage spending and subsequently rental revenue and asset value over the long term.

Future Food delivered a report and presentation on the findings that underlined the core food and beverage market potential with potential food and beverage spending available to the Centre relative to core market, taking into account the anchors, frequency of visitation, food and beverage operator performance, trade area competition and future developments in the area that would improve and compliment the Centre’s Food and Hospitality offer.
