Future Food were appointed in late 2020 to help procure a Catering Partner for Sovereign Hill, to replace the current incumbent across the Museum, Narmbool and their education sectors.

The objective was to find a forward thinking and like-minded professional operator, who could drive a new food and hospitality agenda, aligned to Sovereign Hill’s future masterplan aspirations.

After a rigorous campaign, searching the local region, broader Melbourne and national operators – Peter Rowland Group were successfully appointed to commence on-site April 2021.

Working alongside Sovereign Hill and Peter Rowland Group as an Advisor and Consultant, Future Food developed the Food & Hospitality Strategy and Road Map to ensure the objectives of the Masterplan could be met through the creation of immersive Food & Hospitality experiences and maximising the true potential of F&B.

Enhanced food and beverage outlets, artistic food focussed experiences and elevated food and hospitality standards have been curated to reposition Sovereign Hill as a “foodie destination” for Ballarat and the Western Region. 

Peter Rowland Group were the successfully appointed operator and took over operations in mid 2021.
