Future Food have been engaged by MRC to complete a multi-stage consultancy with the aim of delivering a future Food & Hospitality Strategy to help guide the Centre into the future.
Future Food prioritised the need to engage with key stakeholders and work with the client to ensure all voices were heard and that strategy drivers were set before embarking on the consultancy journey.
As a multi-outlet Centre, covering foyer bars, function and events as well as retail, it was crucial to consider all possible avenues to help reposition the Centre in the shadow of the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation project.
Future Food commenced the consultancy with an initial review of the existing F&B operations and determined opportunities that will not only maximise revenue potential, but maximise the MRC visitor experience. Conducting analysis into the competitive landscape and local demographic and target users helped identify future concept recommendations and revenue potential for each individual outlet. Finally Future Food delivered a future-focused strategy that considered not only enhancements and improvements to existing F&B outlets, but new business opportunities within the Centre.
Key Success Measures
The Board approved our future strategy and will seek to implement the core strategy components over the next 3-5 years.
