Future Food have worked in partnership with The University of Sunshine Coast for the past 2 years to assist them in planning the F&B component of their new ‘Wedge’ central campus development. The aim is to create a central point of activation for campus that is adequately supported by modern campus amenity, including revitalised F&B outlets, common areas and social spaces.

At the commencement of this consultancy, Future Food identified gaps in the current offer and devised a strategy to overhaul the F&B to align to student expectations and deliver a more comprehensive food and hospitality experience. Following approval of the new F&B strategy, Future Food have proceeded through to concept development and design for a revitalised café, new student bar and pizzeria as well as a future dark kitchen and multi-concept strategy to supersede the aged Brasserie eatery.

Key Success Measures

This multi-stage consultancy has ensured strong alignment with the key stakeholder groups within the University and enabled the Project Team to progress the strategy with confidence to deliver new elevated standards on campus.
