Future Food were engaged by Moremac Property Group to assist them in understanding the potential for a Cafe within their new residential “The Point” Development in Point Lonsdale, on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria.

The purpose of this consultancy was to determine the type of concept that will suit the Development and identify industry leading operators to align with this new business opportunity.

Scouring the local landscape including Queenscliff, Geelong, Ocean Grove & Torquay ensured a detailed analysis of the market and identified a list of suitable operators for consideration.

A local and leading operator from a cafe in Queenscliff was successfully attracted and appointed to the opportunity and Cafe 3225 successfully launched in March 2020.

• Developed an EOI document for circulation, including assessment criteria for all proponents to address in their submission.

• Ongoing consultation through negotiation phase until preferred operator was appointed and lease signed.
