Future Food were engaged directly by the Whitehorse City Council to assist them with an existing café operation in the Sportslink Stadium in Vermont South.

The consultancy was designed to provide specialist advice and recommendations to the café operator with the aim of assisting them to drive increased revenue through solutions-based food and hospitality recommendations and strategies.

The Cafe plays a pivotal role in providing relevant and convenient amenity to all users of the sporting facility, including community groups, sporting participants and spectators and as such needed to meet a number of core Council objectives for fresh, healthy and nutritious food and beverage choices for the community.

Future Food visited the café multiple times and worked closely with the café operator for a number of weeks to compile a clear and concise road map to help with improving their business operations. The report contained a number of recommended solutions designed to improve menu choices, elevate visual merchandising and store presentation standards, create sales and marketing strategies and new promotional opportunities to drive engagement with the wider community across the City of Whitehorse.
