Alba Thermal Springs & Spa

Victoria, Australia

Future Food collaborated with private developers, Spark Projects, to create a world-class spa and hot springs facility on 16 hectares on the Mornington Peninsula (project value $90M).

Hospitality was integral to the design, necessitating thorough planning to ensure coherence with the overarching concept and theme.

Working closely with the architectural team led by Hayball, Future Food developed a comprehensive design, encompassing restaurant, bar, and event spaces. Collaboration with kitchen designers and architects ensured seamless integration of the venues with the day spa facilities, establishing them as standalone F&B destinations.

Future Food tailored the business model to foster sustainability, conducting market analysis and providing conceptual guidance. In 2023, Alba Hot Springs enlisted Karen Martini as the culinary ambassador to realise the envisioned concept, aligning it with the identified business case.

Future Food played an important role in the design development stages of Alba Thermal Springs & Spa. Their ability to ensure food and hospitality was considered in this unique setting has led to enhanced experiences for all guests to our award-winning facility.
