Future Food were engaged by QSR Foodies (a hospitality collective), to contribute creative ideation and food and hospitality expertise in the development of a modern QSR chicken concept.

The group shared a high-level vision of what they wanted to achieve and sought out Future Food’s experience to help steer this vision towards a fully documented concept direction.

Multiple stakeholder engagement workshops were required to build a thorough understanding of what the client was seeking and to explore the key strategy drivers for this concept.

The initial focus of this consultancy was applied to concept definition, including positioning statement and vision, point of difference, culinary direction, naming and rationale, logo and colour palette. Once an agreed direction was established, the focus shifted towards design, look and feel of the restaurant space, signage, packaging, uniforms, brand application, technology, digital promotions and the development of the menu.

Future Food finalised this consultancy with an introduction to sub-consultants and suppliers to help deliver this concept, including chef consultants, branding agency, kitchen design consultants and interior design. 

Key Success Measures

Pappa Flock successfully launched in mid-2023 and has established itself as a go-to destination in Parramatta. A second store has since opened at Westfield Miranda, with further rapid growth trajectory planned for the business.
