2026 Event Planning & Venue Booking Survey Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the 2026 Event Planning & Venue Booking Survey Competition (‘survey’), being conducted by Wyndham City Council (‘Council’) in the state of Victoria, Australia only. By participating in the survey, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. ELIGIBILITY

1.1  This survey link will be sent out to existing and potential Encore Events Centre Customers by Council’s Electronic Direct Mail managed by Council departments via Campaign Monitor.

1.2. You must be above the age of 18 and must live, work, study or socialise in Victoria to be eligible to participate in the survey.

1.3. Council staff, Councillors and their immediate family members can participate in the survey but are ineligible to enter the competition associated with the survey.

2. PARTICIPATION

2.1. To participate in the survey, you must complete and submit the survey via Jotform between 9:00am on Tuesday 21 July 2026 and 11:59pm on Tuesday 11 August 2026. Survey responses received outside of this period will not be accepted.

2.2. You acknowledge and agree that you:

         (a) participate in the survey voluntarily;

         (b) will answer each survey question truthfully and honestly;

         (c) cannot change or withdraw any or all of your responses once your survey has been
                submitted; and

         (d) must not complete and submit more than one survey.

3. SURVEY RESPONSES

3.1. All survey responses received will be de-identified and used by Council to compile a
         survey finding report. You acknowledge and agree that this report will be accessible
         by and made available to Council staff, survey participants and third parties.

3.2. Where you have opted into receiving a copy of the survey findings report, you acknowledge and agree that Council will email you a copy to the email address provided in your survey response.

4. SURVEY COMPETITION

4.1. Eligible participants may elect to enter the competition when submitting their survey when they provide their contact details. These eligible participants will go into the draw to be a single (1) winner of both prizes:

      (a)  a prize of one night’s accommodation at Holiday Inn to be redeemed for use on 
               Wednesday 4 November 2026, or on an agreed date, valued at between $150 to $300 and;
      (b)  two tickets to the Bell Shakespeare’s Macbeth Show at Wyndham Cultural Centre
              on Wednesday 4 November 2026, valued at $50 each.

4.2. The competition winner will be drawn at random on Tuesday 18 August 2026 at 3pm by Council officers. The competition winner will be notified by telephone or email on the same day.

4.3. If the winner cannot be contacted by 5:00pm on Tuesday 25 August 2026, Council may opt to conduct a redraw and the next eligible participant drawn will be the winner.

4.4. If the prizes have not been claimed by 5:00pm on Tuesday 1 September 2026, the winner will be deemed to have surrendered the prizes, and Council may opt to conduct a further draw to award the unclaimed prize.

4.5. The prizes are not refundable, transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

4.6. Council may, acting in its absolute discretion, require the winner to provide evidence of their identity, age and/or proof that they live, study, work or socialise in Victoria.

4.7 The eligible participant must provide their contact details when submitting their survey in order to enter the competition.

5. GENERAL

5.1. Council accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete or invalid survey responses and/or competition entries.

5.2. If for any reason, the survey and/or competition cannot be run as planned, Council reserves the right, acting in its entire discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition and/or amend these terms and conditions.

5.3. Council’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
