The Doylo engaged Future Food to evaluate their current catering offer and determine an Expression of interest campaign to find an operator.
The Doylo has historically operated its own food catering but had made the decision at Board level to move away from this approach. Their decision was informed by several drivers. They sought a sopecialist who could elevate the quality of the food offer at the Club, they also had found it challenging to operate a highly seasonal food operation.
Future Food provided the Club with an end to end offer. We reviewed the business and determined a strategic route to engage with operators and drive maximum interest in the opportunity.
Conducting the campaign required us to approach the best operators in the region, local and national catering groups. The highly informative and attractively presented opportunity document was supported with advertising through major national hospitality publications, which further strengthened the response of operators and their interest in the opportunity.
The end result provdied more than a dozen high quality proposals from a range of catering organisations with a range of commercial approaches. This provided the Club with the luxury of choice, tailoring their selection to best meet the needs of the Club and delivering a best practice outcome for them.
