Congratulations to The Doylo and On Point Catering Solutions on a Milestone Appointment
Future Food is delighted to congratulate our client, Doyalson Wyee RSL Club “The Doylo”, on the successful appointment of On Point Catering Solutions as its new catering partner.
This outcome represents a significant milestone for the Central Coast Club. For the first time in its history, The Doylo has transitioned from an in-house catering model to an outsourced partnership, a bold and forward-thinking decision that positions the Club strongly for the future.
Having proudly operated its own food offering for many years, the move reflects the Board’s clear strategic intent to develop the quality and consistency of its F&B experience, by outsourcing to a specialist food operator. It is a decision grounded in long term sustainability and an unwavering focus on delivering the best possible experience for members.
Future Food was pleased to support The Doylo and its team led by Mark Irrgang (Hospitality Operations Manager) & Rory Calbert (Chief People Officer ) through this important process, delivering a comprehensive, end to end engagement.This began with a detailed review of the Club’s existing catering business, followed by the development of a clear strategy to take the opportunity to market.
We then designed and executed an Expression of Interest campaign, including the creation of a highly informative and professionally presented opportunity document that showcased the strength and potential of The Doylo. The campaign was promoted through major national hospitality publications, ensuring strong visibility across the market.

The response was exceptional. The process attracted approaches from some of the most capable operators in the region, alongside established national catering groups. In total, more than a dozen high quality submissions were received, each presenting a unique perspective and commercial model.
This level of engagement provided The Doylo with a genuine depth of choice, enabling the Board to undertake a rigorous evaluation process and ultimately select a partner that aligns closely with the Club’s vision and member expectations.
We are pleased to see On Point Catering Solutions emerge as the successful appointee. Their experience, capability, and clear understanding of club environments made them a compelling choice, and we are confident they will deliver a high quality, member focused food offering.
We extend our sincere congratulations to both The Doylo and On Point Catering Solutions on this partnership. It is a strong, best practice outcome that reflects the quality of the process undertaken and the clarity of the Club’s strategic direction.
As a special mention, we also extend our congratulations to Brett Elliss on his appointment as the new CEO of the Doylo.
