OUR PROJECTS
Abbotsford Convent
Melbourne
Future Food has partnered with Abbotsford Convent Foundation over the past five years, providing strategic food and hospitality advisory services across the precinct. Our work has focused on strengthening the Convent’s hospitality offer to ensure it remains culturally aligned, operationally effective and commercially sustainable.
This has included reviewing catering and hospitality operations, assessing commercial agreements and financial models, developing future-focused KPIs, undertaking market benchmarking and equipment assessments, and providing strategic recommendations to improve operational performance and commercial returns. Future Food has also led multiple Expression of Interest and tender processes on behalf of the Convent, securing hospitality operators aligned with the precinct’s vision and long-term objectives.
Notably, this included the successful appointment of a Hospitality Group to deliver Julie Restaurant, a chef-hatted produce-led restaurant that has set a new benchmark for dining at the Convent, as well as the procurement of a new catering partner for the Rosina Function Space and broader precinct catering operations.
Through this ongoing partnership, Future Food has helped position Abbotsford Convent Foundation for long-term hospitality success while supporting its role as one of Melbourne’s leading cultural and community destinations.
