Edinburgh St James shopping centre F&B masterplanning services

Edinburgh St James is a 1.7 million sq ft city centre development and one of the biggest regeneration projects in the UK. The £850m redevelopment of the St. James Centre, proposed by its owners Henderson Global Investors, involves the construction of prime retail space, five star hotel accommodation and will deliver up to 250 new private residential apartments to create a vibrant and exciting place to live, visit and shop in the heart of Edinburgh. Future Food were engaged in 2015 to develop a food and beverage masterplan that would diversify the range of food and beverage tenancies and create a new dining and hospitality destination within Edinburgh’s City Centre. In addition to master planning the mix, Future Food undertook spatial planning and massing of food across all three levels and how a customer experience would interface with across all destinations including John Lewis, the hotel and the retail footprint.
